Last Day of School

We have a little tradition we started where on the first day of school we take pictures and conduct a little interview with each student. I enjoy looking back to see how much my girls have grown and how much their personalities have developed and changed. Here are the girls first and last day photos as well as their first and last day interviews:

Levi and the 12-Month Onesie

Part of documenting our childrens’ first year has been in the form of monthly photos.

Last Day of School!

This past Wednesday was our last day of school. It was by no means an easy year, but we ended well. School for us was extremely laid back, but I am proud to say that both Sarah and Abigail learned a great deal over the year. I think we also should have an easier time doing more “real” school this fall, when Abigail starts Kindergarten.

At the beginning and end of the year I did interviews with the girls as well as first and last day of school pictures. I thought it would be fun to share how they’ve both changed over the past year:

Next year Abigail will start Kindergarten. We are using My Father’s World God’s Creation from A to Z. I’m confident that Sarah will be able to sit in on a lot of it, but I do plan on having activities that better suit her learning style (she is very wiggly). I know that I will have to also come up with fun school-time-only activities for Lily who is very needy when it comes to being entertained during her waking hours. We’ll see how it goes!
